At the higher tiers, you get 4K exports with HitFilm Creator and up to 8K exports with HitFilm Pro. The free version of HitFilm offers basic features and unlimited exports up to HD. The other two are called Creator and Pro, respectively. The first tier is called Free, and it’s, well, free. There are three tiers to choose from (plus a fourth tier for businesses). It’s kind of a combination of Photoshop and Lightroom, but without the steep learning curve.
If you are more into editing still images, Imerge, another FXhome application, is here for you. So you’ll get an easy-to-use, yet powerful video editing / VFX suite. Artlist acquired the company behind it, FXhome, last year ( blog post here) and they have integrated their stock music / sound effects / stock footage platform directly into HitFilm.
